Welcome to Buck the Buckle up Dog's website.
You are invited to use Buck's materials in your classrooms. Coloring books, puzzles, word games, posters and three books reinforce Buck’s safety messages Each book has a different reading level and each repeats five safety rules: 1)Buckle you seatbelt 2)Wear your helmet 3) Walk facing traffic; ride with traffic) 4) Cross at intersections 5) Be safe; be seen. A preschool book will be available in the 08-09 school year.
Games, word searches and reading questions will vary every other month. The books and other materials may be downloaded or may be used in a power point presentation. Students may write to Buck and he will answer their questions and not just in “arf, arf, woof woof.”
Buck is a real dog who resides in Cumberland County New Jersey. He visits libraries and classrooms in Cumberland County to personally convey his safety messages.
